- 2
Cook the Tri Tip
Place the seasoned tri tip on the grill or in the oven. Cook for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (medium rare) to 145°F (medium).
- 3
Rest the Meat
Once cooked, remove the tri tip from the heat and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
- 4
Slice the Tri Tip
After resting, slice the tri tip against the grain into thin slices suitable for sliders.
Preparation of Alabama White Sauce
- 5
Mix the Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, and chopped fresh parsley. Whisk until smooth and well incorporated.
- 6
Taste and Adjust

Slice the slider buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in the oven until golden brown.
- 8
Assemble the Sliders
On the bottom half of each bun, place a few slices of tri tip, a dollop of Alabama white sauce, a few pickles, and some thinly sliced red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.
