Method

Prepare the Noodles

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

  2. 2

    Cook the Noodles

Add 8 oz of noodles to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Seafood

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Add the Seafood

Add 1 cup each of shrimp, calamari, and scallops to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the seafood is cooked through and opaque. Remove and set aside.

Prepare the Vegetables

  1. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the diced onion and cook for 2 minutes until it starts to soften. Then add the diced zucchini and continue to sauté for another 3 minutes until both vegetables are tender.

Make the Spicy Sauce

  1. 6

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of chili paste, 3 tablespoons of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of minced ginger, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.

Combine Everything

  1. 7

    Stir-Fry Everything Together

Add the cooked seafood back into the skillet with the vegetables, then pour the spicy sauce over the mixture. Toss everything together for about 2 minutes until evenly coated and heated through.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve the spicy seafood and vegetable mixture over the cooked noodles. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
