1. Beat the Eggs
In a mixing bowl, crack the 4 eggs and beat them lightly with a fork until the yolks and whites are blended.
2. Mix Ingredients
Add 1 cup of water, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, and 1 tbsp of sesame oil to the beaten eggs. Mix well until everything is combined.
Cooking
3. Prepare the Steamer
Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Make sure to have a steaming insert or a heatproof dish that fits into the pot.
4. Steam the Eggs
Pour the egg mixture into a heatproof bowl or dish, then place it in the steamer. Cover with a lid and steam for about 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are set. You can check by gently shaking the bowl; if the mixture is firm and doesn’t jiggle, it’s done.
5. Garnish
Once cooked, carefully remove the bowl from the steamer. Sprinkle the finely chopped green onions on top as a garnish. Serve hot.
