Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Pork
Trim any excess fat from the pork tenderloin and season it with salt and black pepper on all sides.
- 2
Sear the Pork
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork tenderloin and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- 3
Prepare the Peppers
While the pork is resting, slice the jalapeño peppers in half and remove the seeds if you desire less heat. Mince the garlic cloves.
- 4
- 5
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and crushed red pepper flakes until well combined.
- 6
Combine and Finish Cooking
Return the pork to the skillet with the peppers. Pour the sauce over the pork and peppers. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- 7
Serve
Remove the pork from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with the sautéed peppers and sauce drizzled on top.
