Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Slice the boneless, skinless chicken breast into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

Shred cabbage and carrots, slice the green onions, and mushrooms. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and add the shredded cabbage, carrots, sliced green onions, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  3. 6

    Combine Chicken and Sauce

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour in the sauce. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Serving

  1. 7

    Assemble the Wraps

To serve, place a generous portion of the chicken and vegetable mixture onto a Chinese pancake or tortilla. Top with fresh cilantro.

  2. 8

    Enjoy!

Roll up the wrap, and enjoy your tasty Mu Shu Chicken!
