Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Clean the fish intestines thoroughly under cold running water, removing any impurities. Pat dry with paper towels. Slice the Korean radish and chop the green onions. Mince the garlic. Slice the chili peppers.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Make the Soup Base

In a large pot, add the 4 cups of water and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, add the sliced Korean radish and minced garlic. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes until the radish is tender.

  2. 3

    Add Fish Intestines and Shrimp

Stir in the cleaned fish intestines and shrimp into the pot. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and the fish intestines are cooked through.

  3. 4

    Add Tofu and Seasonings

Gently add the cubed tofu to the pot. Stir in the hot chili paste, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Adjust the seasoning to taste. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  4. 5

    Finish with Vegetables

Finally, add the chopped green onions and sliced chili peppers to the soup. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes before removing from heat.
