Pasta Dough Preparation

Make the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the eggs and olive oil. Gradually mix the flour into the eggs using a fork until a dough forms.

Knead the Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.

Cook the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the crushed tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Finish the Sauce
Stir in the fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Keep warm.
Cooking the Pasta

Roll and Cut the Pasta
Roll out the rested dough using a pasta machine or rolling pin to your desired thickness. Cut into your preferred shape (like fettuccine or tagliatelle).

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta for 2-4 minutes until al dente. Drain and toss with the sauce.
