Brewing Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee Pot
Use a traditional cezve (Turkish coffee pot) for best results. Add 2 tablespoons of finely ground Turkish coffee into the cezve.
- 2
Add Water
Measure 200 ml of cold water and pour it into the cezve with the ground coffee.
- 3
Add Sugar (Optional)
If you prefer your coffee sweetened, add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the cezve. Adjust the quantity to your taste.
- 4
Mix Ingredients
Stir the mixture gently to combine the coffee, water, and sugar before heating.
- 5
Heat the Coffee
Place the cezve on low heat. Allow the coffee to heat slowly without stirring.
- 6
Watch for Froth
As the coffee heats, it will begin to froth. Pay attention to it closely to prevent boiling over.
- 7
Remove from Heat
Just before the coffee begins to boil, remove the cezve from the heat. Allow it to settle for about 30 seconds.
- 8
Pour and Serve
Slowly pour the coffee into small cups, allowing the grounds to settle at the bottom. Serve hot and enjoy!
