Cooking Pasta

Boil Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt.

Cook Pasta
Add 8 cups of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing Shrimp and Sauce

Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, heat 4 tbs of olive oil over medium heat. Add 4 tsp of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Add 28 oz of canned crushed tomatoes, 1 tsp of dried oregano, 1 tsp of red pepper flakes, 1 tsp of salt, and 0.5 tsp of black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine.

Cook Shrimp
Add 1 lb of raw shrimp to the sauce. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
Roasting Feta

Prepare Feta
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place 8 oz of crumbled feta cheese in a small baking dish.

Season Feta
Drizzle 1 tbs of olive oil over the feta and sprinkle with 0.5 tsp of dried oregano.

Bake Feta
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the feta is golden and slightly bubbly.
Assembly

Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked pasta and shrimp sauce. Toss to ensure pasta is well coated.

Top with Feta
Remove the roasted feta from the oven and crumble it over the shrimp pasta.

Serve
Serve the Shrimp Plaka hot, garnished with additional oregano if desired.
