Method

Prepare the Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Prepare the Vegetables

  1. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the bell peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

Make the Sauce

  1. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  2. 4

    Add Vegetables

Add the chopped bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, and broccoli to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.

  3. 5

    Add Tomatoes and Broth

Stir in the cherry tomatoes and vegetable broth. Season with salt and black pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Combine

  1. 6

    Mix Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the vegetable mixture. Toss everything together to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated in the sauce.

Serve

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the pasta primavera hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil.
