Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chickpeas

Soak the chickpeas in water overnight. Drain and rinse them, then cook in boiling water for about 1-1.5 hours until tender. Drain and let cool.

  2. 2

    Make the Tahini Sauce

In a blender, combine tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding a little water if necessary to reach desired consistency.

  3. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the cooked chickpeas with the tahini sauce. Mix well to coat the chickpeas evenly.

  4. 4

    Serve

Transfer the Msabaha to a serving dish and garnish with additional olive oil, if desired. Serve alongside olives, turnips, pickles, fresh mint, diced tomatoes, sliced onions, and radish.
