Preparing the Hummus

Blend the Ingredients
In a food processor, combine the canned chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and water. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Adjust the Consistency
If the hummus is too thick, add more water, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.

Serve
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika on top.
Making the Awarma

Melt the Lamb Fat
In a medium saucepan, melt the lamb fat over medium heat until it becomes liquid.

Season the Mixture
Add salt and ground black pepper, stirring well to combine. Allow to simmer for about 15 minutes.

Cool and Store
Remove from heat and let it cool. Awarma can be stored in the refrigerator for a few weeks.
