Cheese Bread Ingredients
Method
Directions
- 1
Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- 2
Prepare Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- 3
Knead Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4
First Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 5
Add Cheese and Parsley
Once risen, punch down the dough and knead in the shredded cheese and chopped parsley until evenly distributed.
- 6
Second Rise
Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
- 7
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 8
Bake the Bread
Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- 9
Cool and Serve
Remove from the oven, let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
