Season chicken
Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with the seasoning mix (salt and pepper).

Heat skillet and oil
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sear chicken
Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the hot skillet and sear until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Then transfer to a plate and keep warm.

Deglaze with lemon
Pour in lemon juice to deglaze the pan, scraping up browned bits from the bottom.

Add capers
Stir in capers and cook 1 minute to flavor the sauce.

Add white wine
Pour in dry white wine and simmer until reduced by half, about 2-3 minutes.

Add vodka
Stir in vodka and simmer 2-3 minutes to mellow the alcohol and blend flavors.

Stir in tomatoes
Add crushed tomatoes and simmer 5-7 minutes to form the base of the sauce.

Finish sauce with cream
Stir in heavy cream; simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-4 minutes. Taste and adjust salt if needed.

Cook fettuccine
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook fettuccine until al dente according to package instructions. Drain.

Finish and serve
Return chicken to sauce briefly to rewarm, toss drained fettuccine with the sauce, and plate with the chicken. Sprinkle with grated parmesan.
