Toast the baguette
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the baguette on a bias into 1/2-inch pieces. Brush one side of each slice with a light coat of extra-virgin olive oil. Place in a single layer on a baking sheet and toast until golden and crisp, about 6–8 minutes, flipping once halfway through.

Spread a thin layer of pesto on the warm, toasted baguette slices.

Drizzle a small amount of fig balsamic glaze over each pesto-topped slice.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
