Method

Eggs

  1. 1

    Cook the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook until the whites are set and the yolks are sunny-side up, about 3-4 minutes.

Bacon

  1. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Hash Browns

  1. 3

    Prepare the Hash Browns

Grate the potatoes using a box grater. Rinse the grated potatoes in cold water to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 4

    Cook the Hash Browns

In the same skillet used for the bacon, add the oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add the grated potatoes, season with salt, and flatten them with a spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.

Toast

  1. 5

    Toast the Bread

While the hash browns are cooking, toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown. Spread butter on each slice while still hot.
