Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Legs

Rinse the king crab legs under cold water to remove any debris. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add minced garlic (from the whole garlic cloves) and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but do not let it brown.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Lemon

Cut the lemon in half. Squeeze the juice from one half into the melted butter and garlic mixture. Reserve the other half for serving.

  4. 4

    Season the Crab Legs

Sprinkle Old Bay seasoning and salt over the crab legs evenly.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Steam the Crab Legs

Fill a large pot with about 1 inch of water and bring to a boil. Place a steaming rack in the pot and arrange the crab legs on top. Cover and steam for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.

  2. 6

    Serve

Remove the crab legs from the pot. Serve hot with the garlic butter sauce drizzled on top and lemon wedges on the side. Garnish with chopped parsley.
