For the Croissant Waffles

Method

For the Croissant Waffles

  1. 1

    Prepare the Waffle Iron

Preheat your waffle iron to medium-high heat. If using a non-stick waffle iron, you may skip the greasing step. Otherwise, brush the waffle iron plates with a small amount of butter.

  2. 2

    Shape the Croissants

Take the croissant dough and unroll it if necessary. Cut each piece into halves or thirds based on the size of your waffle iron, ensuring they fit well.

  3. 3

    Cook the Croissant Waffles

Place the pieces of croissant dough into the waffle iron and close the lid. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Carefully remove the croissant waffles and set aside.

  4. 4

    Add Butter

While the waffles are still warm, brush them lightly with melted butter for added flavor.

For the Seasonal Dips

  1. 5

    Prepare the Dips

In small bowls, pour the maple syrup, arrange the mixed berries, and spoon the whipped cream. You can also mash some of the berries for a delightful dipping sauce.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the croissant waffles warm with the seasonal dips on the side for dipping.
