Preparing Fish Mixture

Prepare the Fish
In a mixing bowl, combine the white fish fillets, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Making the Batter

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and baking powder until well combined.

Mix Wet Ingredients
Add the beaten egg and cold water to the dry ingredients. Mix until you achieve a smooth batter.
Combining and Frying

Mix Fish with Batter
Fold the marinated fish mixture into the batter until well coated.

Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches about 180°C (350°F).

Fry Fritters
Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the fish and batter mixture into the hot oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

Drain and Serve
Once fried, remove the fritters with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
