Thai Cauliflower Bites Recipe
Lightly coated fried cauliflower tossed in our house made garlic ginger sauce, on top of cilantro slaw topped with green onions.

Method
Preparing the Cauliflower

Prepare the Cauliflower
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.

Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, water, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.

Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it's fully coated.
Frying the Cauliflower

Fry the Cauliflower
Working in batches, carefully add the coated cauliflower florets to the hot oil. Fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Making the Garlic Ginger Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.

Cook the Sauce
Heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce is heated through, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions.
Preparing the Cilantro Slaw

Mix the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, and chopped cilantro.

Dress the Slaw
Add lime juice, salt, and black pepper to the slaw mixture and toss until evenly coated.
Assembling the Dish

Plate the Dish
On a serving platter, layer the cilantro slaw as a base. Top with the crispy cauliflower bites.

Drizzle with Sauce
Generously drizzle the garlic ginger sauce over the cauliflower bites. Serve immediately.
