Cooking the Protein

Brown the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, for about 5-7 minutes.

Add Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the beef is well coated and the seasoning is fragrant.
Assembling the Nachos

Prepare the Base
On a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.

Add Beef
Evenly distribute the seasoned beef over the chips.

Add Toppings
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the beef and top with chopped tomatoes.
Baking

Melt the Cheese
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the assembled nachos in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving

Remove the nachos from the oven and serve hot with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole on the side.
