Method

Prepare the Base

  1. 1

    Cook the Protein

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the seasoned beef or chicken until fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chips

While the protein is cooking, arrange the white corn chips in a large baking dish or on a platter.

Assemble the Nachos

  1. 3

    Layer the Ingredients

Evenly distribute the cooked seasoned beef or chicken over the corn chips. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses on top.

  2. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled nachos under a broiler for about 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.

Add Toppings and Serve

  1. 5

    Top the Nachos

Remove the nachos from the oven and sprinkle lettuce, diced tomatoes, and pico de gallo on top.

  2. 6

    Serve with Dips

Serve immediately with fresh salsa, sour cream, and guacamole on the side for dipping.
