Method

Fish Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the white fish fillets and coat them evenly. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Cook the marinated fish fillets for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Cabbage Slaw Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, and chopped cilantro. Drizzle lime juice and sprinkle salt over the mixture. Toss well to combine and let sit for about 10 minutes for the flavors to meld.

Chipotle Crema Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Crema

In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, minced chipotle peppers, lime juice, and salt. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Taco Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side. Place a portion of grilled fish on each tortilla, top with cabbage slaw, and drizzle with chipotle crema. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
