Wings and Slaw

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dry Rub

In a bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, and dried oregano. Mix well to create your dry rub.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Rub the dry rub mixture generously over the wings, ensuring they are well coated. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  3. 3

    Prepare the House Slaw

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and shredded carrots. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt until smooth. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots and toss to combine. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Cook the Wings

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and fully cooked.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven. Serve hot with the white BBQ sauce on the side and the house slaw as a refreshing side dish.
