Ingredients for Brian's Spicy Carne Adovada Ribs

Method

Instructions for Preparing Brian's Spicy Carne Adovada Ribs

  1. 1

    Marinate the Ribs

In a large bowl, combine Sadie's Red Chile Sauce, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the pork spare ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the marinated ribs on a baking tray lined with foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil to keep them moist. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  4. 4

    Cook the Papitas

In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the diced papitas and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 15-20 minutes. Season with salt to taste.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve the ribs on a plate with frijoles, crispy papitas, and top with sliced onions and melted cheddar cheese.
