Fried Green Chile Strips

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Chiles

Wash and dry the green chiles. Cut off the stems and slice them into strips.

2

Set Up the Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour mixed with salt and pepper in one, beaten eggs and milk in the second, and breadcrumbs in the third.

3

Bread the Chiles

Dip each strip of green chile first into the flour, then into the egg mixture, and finally into the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well-coated.

4

Heat the Oil

In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

5

Fry the Chiles

Carefully place the breaded green chile strips into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

6

Serve

Serve hot with Sadie's Green Chile Ranch for dipping.
