Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the saucepan and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12-14 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

After the eggs have finished sitting, transfer them to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cooled, peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Remove the yolks from the egg halves and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork and add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chives or parsley if desired.

  6. 6

    Serve

Arrange the deviled eggs on a platter and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
