Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

Trim any excess fat from the brisket and rub it with a mixture of salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Brisket

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the brisket in the smoker and cook for about 6-8 hours until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C).

  3. 3

    Cube the Brisket

Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes. Cut the brisket into 1-inch cubes.

  4. 4

    Prepare Burnt Ends Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and apple juice. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Coat the Brisket Cubes

Add the brisket cubes to the BBQ sauce mixture and coat them evenly.

  6. 6

    Return to the Smoker

Place the coated brisket cubes back in the smoker and cook for an additional 2 hours at 250°F (121°C), stirring occasionally.

  7. 7

    Serve

Once the burnt ends are caramelized and tender, remove them from the smoker and serve warm.
