Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs if necessary.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover them tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Glaze

In a small saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. 5

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the glaze generously over the ribs.

  6. 6

    Finish the Ribs

Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C). Return the ribs to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until caramelized.

  7. 7

    Rest and Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve hot.
