Baby Back Ribs
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
- 2
Season the Ribs
In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub this mixture all over the ribs.
- 3
Wrap and Bake
Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
- 4
Prepare the Glaze
While the ribs are baking, combine apple cider vinegar, honey, and barbecue sauce in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until warmed through.
- 5
Finish the Ribs
Once the ribs are done baking, carefully unwrap them and brush generously with the glaze. Return to the oven (unwrapped) for an additional 20-30 minutes at 400°F (200°C) to caramelize the glaze.
- 6
Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
