Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a large bowl, season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Make sure the chicken is well-coated with the seasonings.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a slow cooker. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
- 3
Shred the Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- 4
Mix with BBQ Sauce
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the BBQ sauce. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated with the sauce.
- 5
Serve
Serve the pulled chicken on buns, in tacos, or on a salad. Enjoy!
