Chicken Wings
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season them with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Prepare the Gochujang Glaze
In a medium bowl, mix together the gochujang, honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar until well combined.
- 3
Mince Garlic
Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.
- 4
Chop Green Onions
Slice the green onions thinly for garnish.
Cooking
- 5
Heat the Oil
In a large deep pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 6
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry them for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 7
Drain Wings
Once cooked, remove the wings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 8
Toss in Gochujang Glaze
In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken wings with the gochujang glaze until they are evenly coated.
- 9
Garnish and Serve
Transfer the glazed wings to a serving platter, sprinkle with minced garlic, and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
