Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

  2. 2

    Make the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Assembling the Pizza

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 6

    Roll out the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer to a floured surface. Roll it out to your desired thickness and shape.

  3. 7

    Add Sauce

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough.

  4. 8

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the provolone cheese and mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

  5. 9

    Add Toppings

Layer the pepperoni, Italian sausage (pre-cooked), prosciutto, mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, and black olives evenly on top.

Baking the Pizza

  1. 10

    Bake the Pizza

Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

  2. 11

    Cool and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
