Meatball Preparation

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Mix Meatball Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Form Meatballs
Using your hands, shape the meat mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place the formed meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake Meatballs
Drizzle the olive oil over the meatballs and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through.

Cook Pasta
While the meatballs are baking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat Marinara Sauce
In a separate saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat until warmed through.

Combine Meatballs and Sauce
Once the meatballs are done baking, add them to the saucepan with the marinara sauce. Gently stir to coat the meatballs in the sauce and cook together for an additional 5 minutes.
Serving

Serve
To serve, place a portion of pasta on each plate, top with meatballs and marinara sauce. Garnish with additional chopped parsley or grated Parmesan if desired.
