Prepare the Pasta
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Chicken
- 2
Season and Grill Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Grill the chicken on medium-high heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.
Make the Alfredo Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Add Cheese and Season
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg, mixing well. Let the sauce cook for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Combine and Serve
- 5
Mix Pasta with Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- 6
Slice Chicken and Serve
Slice the grilled chicken and arrange it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
