Method
Prepare the Brownie Base
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Mix Sugars
Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter. Stir until well combined.
- 4
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 5
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 6
Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
- 7
Add White Chocolate Chips
Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Bake the Brownies
- 8
Pour Batter
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- 9
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 10
Cool
Once baked, remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Prepare the Topping
- 11
Melt White Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth and fully melted.
- 12
Top Brownies
Once the brownies are completely cool, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top. Optionally, sprinkle with sprinkles to add a festive touch.
- 13
Cut into Bites
Using a sharp knife, cut the brownies into small bite-sized squares.
