Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into cubes and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
Set up a breading station with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each piece in flour, dip in egg, and coat in breadcrumbs. Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Let it rest before slicing.
- 3
Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, chop the Romaine lettuce and add cherry tomatoes. Drizzle with Caesar dressing and toss to combine. Plate the salad, top with sliced crispy chicken, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and add homemade croutons.
