Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large skillet or mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
