Beef Short Ribs

Seared White Shrimp

Method

Beef Short Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ribs

Place the short ribs in a large resealable bag or bowl. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.

  3. 3

    Charbroil the Ribs

Preheat a grill or broiler. Remove the ribs from the marinade and pat dry. Brush with olive oil. Grill or broil the ribs for about 4-5 minutes on each side until nicely charred and cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Simmer

Transfer the charbroiled ribs to a pot, add beef broth, and simmer on low heat for about 1 hour until tender.

Seared White Shrimp

  1. 5

    Cook the Shrimp

In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.

  2. 6

    Add the Shrimp

Add the white shrimp to the skillet. Season with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

  3. 7

    Finish with Lemon Juice

Remove from heat and drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Toss to combine.

Chocolate Soufflé

  1. 8

    Prepare the Chocolate

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease ramekins with butter and dust with powdered sugar.

  2. 9

    Melt the Chocolate

In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler or microwave. Let it cool slightly.

  3. 10

    Whisk the Egg Yolks

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.

  4. 11

    Combine Mixtures

Fold the melted chocolate into the egg yolk mixture until well combined.

  5. 12

    Whip Egg Whites

In another bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the chocolate mixture.

  6. 13

    Bake

Pour the soufflé mixture into the prepared ramekins and bake for about 12-15 minutes until puffed and set.
