Kochujang Ponzu Sauce

Method

Dumpling Wrappers

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Roll Out the Wrappers

After resting, divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into thin circles (about 3 inches in diameter) on a floured surface.

Dumpling Filling

  1. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, minced garlic, grated ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

Assembling and Cooking

  1. 4

    Fill the Dumplings

Place a small spoonful of the filling onto the center of each dumpling wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal tightly.

  2. 5

    Steam the Dumplings

Arrange the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper. Steam over boiling water for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.

Kochujang Ponzu Sauce

  1. 6

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together kochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, lime juice, and sugar until well combined.
