Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribeye

Season the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the seasoning to penetrate.

  2. 2

    Sear the Steak

In a cast-iron skillet, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the ribeye steak to the skillet and sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side until a nice crust forms. Remove from heat and let it rest.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Cherry Tomatoes

While the steak is resting, cut the Ho Farms cherry tomatoes in half and set aside.

  4. 4

    Slice the Steak

Once the steak has rested for about 10 minutes, thinly slice it against the grain.

  5. 5

    Plate the Dish

Arrange the sliced ribeye on a serving platter, top with halved cherry tomatoes, and drizzle with orange yuzu soy sauce.
