Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, minced serrano peppers, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Salmon

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove salmon from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and season with salt and black pepper. Place the salmon in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, add the reserved marinade and bring it to a boil. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the seared salmon and drizzle the thickened sauce over it. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
