Meatloaf Preparation

Prepare the Meatloaf
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix until well combined.

Shape and Bake
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Make the Gravy
Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms, stirring to combine. Gradually add beef broth and soy sauce, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Onion Rings Preparation

Prepare the Batter
In a bowl, whisk together flour, beer, baking powder, and salt until smooth. Let it rest for a few minutes.

Fry the Onion Rings
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Dip onion rings into the batter, then fry them in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
