Method

Prepare Mochi Waffle Batter

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a large bowl, combine sweet rice flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, lilikoi juice, and vanilla extract.

    Combine Mixtures

    Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Make Whipped Brown Butter

    Brown the Butter

    In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Continue cooking until it foams and turns golden brown, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

    Transfer the brown butter to a mixing bowl and whip until fluffy.

Cook Waffles

    Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
