Blue Cheese Remoulade

Spiced Maple Bacon

Stuffing Croutons

Method

Blue Cheese Remoulade

  1. 1

    Prepare the Remoulade

In a mixing bowl, combine blue cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste. Refrigerate until serving.

Spiced Maple Bacon

  1. 2

    Cook the Bacon

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix maple syrup, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Coat bacon slices with the mixture and arrange on the baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy. Remove from oven and let cool, then chop into pieces.

Stuffing Croutons

  1. 3

    Make the Croutons

In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and celery, sauté until softened. Add stale bread, vegetable broth, sage, and thyme. Stir until well combined and bread absorbs the liquid. Cook until golden brown, then remove from heat and let cool. Cut into crouton-sized pieces.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Kula Butter Leaf

On a serving platter, layer the stuffing croutons, followed by the spiced maple bacon. Drizzle the blue cheese remoulade over the top. Serve immediately.
