Dumpling Wrappers

Chili-Soy Dipping Sauce

Method

Prepare Dumpling Wrappers

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Roll Out the Wrappers

After resting, divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a circle about 3 inches in diameter.

Prepare Filling

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix together ground pork, crab meat, shrimp, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Assemble and Cook Dumplings

  1. 4

    Fill the Dumplings

Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each wrapper. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal.

  2. 5

    Steam the Dumplings

Place the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper. Steam over boiling water for about 15-20 minutes until cooked through.

Prepare Dipping Sauce

  1. 6

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, chili oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and sesame seeds. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
