Fish Sandwich

Lemon Caper Cilantro Aioli

Method

Fish Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fish

Season the fish fillets with salt and black pepper. In a shallow dish, set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and cornmeal.

  2. 2

    Bread the Fish

Dip each fish fillet first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in cornmeal, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Cook the Fish

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the breaded fish fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of the burger bun, layer lettuce, fried fish, slices of tomato, and rings of onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

Lemon Caper Cilantro Aioli

  1. 5

    Make the Aioli

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, chopped cilantro, capers, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth.

French Fries

  1. 6

    Prepare the Fries

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Fry the potato strips in batches until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.
