Ingredients

Crab Crust

Diver Scallops

Togarashi Butter

Baby Bok Choy

Preparation

Preparation

1. Prepare the Togarashi Butter

In a bowl, combine softened butter, togarashi spice, lemon zest, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined. Set aside.

2. Make the Crab Crust

In a separate bowl, gently fold together crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, togarashi, green onions, lemon juice, and salt until just combined. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

Cooking the Scallops

3. Sear the Scallops

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season scallops with salt and pepper. Sear scallops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and place on a baking sheet.

4. Add Crab Crust

Top each scallop with a generous spoonful of the crab mixture.

5. Broil

Broil scallops in the oven for about 3-5 minutes until the crab crust is golden and crispy.

Cooking the Baby Bok Choy

6. Sauté the Bok Choy

In the same skillet, add sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add baby bok choy, cut side down, and drizzle with soy sauce. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until tender.

Serving

7. Plate and Serve

Arrange sautéed bok choy on plates and top with the broiled crab crusted scallops. Serve with a dollop of togarashi butter on top.
