Prepare the Vegetables
Wash and dry the cauliflower florets and halved Brussels sprouts. Set aside.

Make the Coating
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Cooking

Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).

Coat the Vegetables
Dredge the cauliflower and Brussels sprouts in the flour mixture until well coated.

Fry the Vegetables
Carefully add the coated vegetables to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Use a slotted spoon to remove and drain on paper towels.

Combine with Toppings
In a large serving bowl, toss the fried vegetables with toasted pine nuts, golden raisins, and chopped parsley.
