Spring Roll Filling

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cabbage, grated carrot, chopped green onions, soy sauce, minced ginger, and minced garlic. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Spring Rolls

Take one spring roll wrapper and place it on a clean surface with a corner pointing towards you. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken filling onto the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  3. 3

    Fry the Spring Rolls

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the spring rolls in batches, frying until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
